Copper Creek - Hornady Modified Case...

Just wanted to give Copper Creek Cartridge some props.

I needed a .280 Ackley modified case for my Hornady OAL gauge and obviously Hornady doesn't make that one.

I emailed Copper Creek to see if they could make one for me if I sent them a piece of virgin brass.

Got a quick response that they keep that brass on hand and could make it for $11. Had it 2 days later.

If you're in the market for an odd-ball modified case, give them a shout, great service.

You should send them a fire formed case, a virgen case isn't gonna let the bullet slide in & out when you measure using the tool.

Normally, you would be correct. But they reamed out the inside of the case neck. It works perfectly.
