Ok, I am new to the whole building my own upper so please bare with me. I have a Black Rain upper receiver, Noveske 18" SPR barrel, and Troy 13" Bravo Rail STRX-BR1-13BT-00. What barrel nut do I need? The Troy rail is supposed to use a standard barrel nut. Do I need just a standard nut or the whole barrel nut assembly (like used with standard plastic handrails that snap in to the spring loaded barrel nut assembly)? If anyone has a suggesting for the correct nut, I would be grateful.

Also, what forward assist assembly do you guys recommend?

I'm 90% sure that you should be using a standard barrel nut without the delta ring assembly.

Edit: Don't forget antisieze.
