Whenever I run into somethiong that I think we may all benefit from, I like to share it. Today I was at the range testing a new build. A freind of mine showed up with his new Savage in ,223 with a cheek rest like I have never seen. This would be great for people who have low comb stocks like the McMillan HTG and want to use a 20 MOA base with a large Objective belled scope and a heavy barrel. It can be custom made to different hieghts according to my freind. I love the HTG stock, but unless you have a head shaped like a watermelon, and just as large, you'll have a tough time alinging your eye to the ocular lens of your scope without some cheek adjustment on a hunting style stock like the HTG. I did try it out for a few shots, and it feels solid. A lot of you may already know about this, so for you disregard. For all others like me, I hope this helps.
