I saw that as well. I was amazed at their ability to, not just survive, but flourish in an urban environment. It was also interesting to see their interaction with humans in the neighborhoods.

I think most of the people who saw them thought they were just someone's big dog. Especially those with collars on

All the yotes I have killed here this year have dwarfed the ones I just killed in Montana. Easily another 10-12lb of weight sometimes more. Much more mass to them. There's a definite difference.

That second link definitely discribes what I see here in South Eastern CT. I've seem packs of a half dozen or more numerous times while out and about. Its erie hearing multiple large packs hollowing at night.

I have noticed them getting bigger than they used to be in KY, I always figured it was mixing with dogs. Never gave a though to wolves.

In case you haven't heard the Military is now Exclusively using the CoyWolf. Most other Federal agencies are moving to them too.
