So the creedmoorsports website shows them allowing backorders for a lot of Berger and Hornady bullets. I'm wondering if the fact they're allowing backorders is because they're anticipating a shipment soon, or if I'd be waiting indefinitely. I'm debating putting a backorder in for Berger 130s, and Hornady ELDs. Any advice? I have a decent supply of the 130s already, but I'd really like a couple hundred 140 ELDs to try out

I've been backordering from Creemoor through the pandemic and ammo shortage, and have had those backorders consistently filled in the 1-to-2 month range. Just got a shipment of Berger 6.5 140 Hybrid Targets that were on backorder for about 2 months. Prior to that got a couple of shipments of Lapua 338 brass and others as well. These guys are terrific, and actually fulfil backorders in a semi-reasonable timeframe. Don't be in a hurry, get your orders in now, and you'll eventually get it shipped to you. Another good one for fulfilling backorders is Graf & Sons ... had great luck there as well.

Both Creedmoor and Graf are "first ordered - first filled" ... so ignore all the people "not" ordering and whining about lead times, and get yourself on the list with backorders for what you need. Then relax, and be patient. That's my advice.

Haha....I have had a BO w them for loaded Bertger 6.5 CM, 140 hybrids since Nov.

I also put in a BO for Hndy 140 ELD-M at the same time and I finally delivered about 3 wks ago.

I don’t think them accepting BO’s is indicative of anything in particular other than they are willing to queue you up in the BO line

My Berger 140's (Part #26414) were backordered on March 16th and arrived here June 1st ... about 10 weeks. You should call them ... there's something wrong with your backorder.

I ordered Ammo.

By the by, I love CM Sports and the gal, Gina, who runs their CS.

good outfit in my book, particularly after Berger raised their prices and CM Sports ate 2/3 of it for those w BO. That is the way you cement customer loyalty in my book.

I ordered Berger 105 hybrids from them way back in December
Still on the list and not filled yet so I guess it depends on what you are waiting for. 105 hybrids seem to be made from Unobtainium. At least they don’t charge your card until they can fill the order. Can’t say the same fir another place I back ordered from 3 months ago.
creedmoor sports is a good company trying their best much like powder valley is.

Same here. Not in a hurry though. They just shipped my backorder of 156 EOL’s.
