And if it really does tweak like we are all told wouldnt it be a repeatable tweak? I mean your barrel tweaks too and that is a given but repeatable effect. </div></div>
Repeatability is more important to stiffness up to a point. The trade-offs and governing behavior are far more complicated than a forum reply warrants and I've tried to address it in pieces here before with little justice done to the topic. I'll skip the way I think about this to just say that "yes, it is done".
You can get that action from BAT, Nesika, Pierce, Kampfield, among others. When you demand a specific set of features in a product that isn't a high volume item it soon turns into a large $$ investment for what is considered normal. Remember that the people making these things do still need to make money on the deal and when you want something radically different (dual port, left hand, right eject) you are asking for different tooling to be setup. Much of that increase in cost is the fact that you're paying for tooling change, and that's a expensive venture.
I believe Barnard makes exactly what you want for about $1400 (exchange rate dependent). Call MTGuns about it, they're the US Importer. The only hiccup is the inlet, but if you're getting this rifle built it should be an easy process for the builder to tweak the inlet for the larger Barnard tube.
