Custom Gunsmith San Antonio

I’m down in the San Antonio area visiting my brother for the week and was looking to handle a bunch of different custom actions to see which one I’d like to build my next rifle on. I currently have a Zermatt TL3, just want to see and feel the differences. Appreciate any assistance, thanks

If you want to drive about 45 min I recommend John Forrester with Twisted precision in Center point. John is a great guy to deal with….I have 4 rifles he built and they are all hammers.

Does he use just Curtis actions out does he have others as well?? Thanks

He built me a defiance Anti-x, deviant hunter, defiance tenacity, and a Curtis axiom. He is currently working on a Terminus Zeus for me. You would have to check with him to see what he has any in stock….hard to get terminus I hear….I ordered the defiance myself and had it shipped to him.

Local to me; nice to go up there to get ideas and see what’s new; they always have a nice selection on hand…

They have one of my Rem long actions right now as a matter of fact; trueing the action, tapping rail/ring holes to #8-40, and putting on a new barrel chambered in 280 Ackley Improved.
