Decided that I hadn't really played with the mosin in a while so I decided to change things up a bit to restore interest in a cheap gun to shoot.

I like it, I shot a guys Glued in action m38 that had been cutdown and recrowned. He was royally pissing off the guy to his left with a FNAR, since he was shooting groups with surplus ammo that were half the size of the guy with the 1200 dollar gun.
I would like to make a stock for the mosin that would be along the same route as the xlr stocks, i thick that would be cool but it has a side rail for Russian optics to attach. But I'd need measurements and all that which i don't have.
Also how well does that surpressor work on the mosin because i've always hear the mosin is super loud.

Just above comfortable without any hearing pro. The muzzle flash without a can on looks like a yellow Xmas tree coming out of the barrel.
