Does anyone know the measurements or has a adjustable A5 that has been inletted for a Badger M2008?

I got my McM A5 in the other day and while the action inletting seemed to be correct. It seems that McM did not cut the removable cheek piece for the clearance of the bolt. With it all the way down I can cycle the bolt, but with it up, the bolt will not fully cycle. Another problem is that the bolt release cut out on the stock wasn't machined out. All is fine until you tightened down the action to the stock and the bolt stop will bind on the stock to where you can't even push it to release the bolt.

McMillan is already sending me a call tag on the stock. But I am having second thoughts about sending it out. I have access to a mill, and it doesn't seem like that big of a job to get the stock 100%. Plus I have no clue how long McM will take to complete it.

Its not that big of a job but after you cut the relief for the bolt in the cheek piece, there will be white fiberglass exposed that will not match the color of the rest of your stock. This also applies to the bolt stop cut out.

If you let us have UPS pick it up, we'll be able to re-patch that area and the whole job will only take us 3 or 4 days.

    My apologies for the hassle.

Ryan is one of the many good folks over at McM, and you will be happy you let them fix it 100%.
We as shooters are fortunate to have such quality companies to choose from.
