Im not a big fan of tan so when it came time to put in my Yodave trigger kit I decided to paint it green. Right now as it stands these are the stats on my rifle:
CZ 455 PT with manners stock
Vortex Viper HS mil/mil 5-15x 44mm Tactical Rifle Scope
EWG 25MOA scope base
TPS 30mm TSR Picatinny-Style Aluminum Rings Matte Low
Vortex Bubble Level Anti-Cant Device
Butler Creek lens covers
Harris 3x9 LNSW bi-pod
Accushot 1st gen monopod
Tactical Intervention sling
Yodave kit set to 1lb
eventially I will change the trigger to a Timmany and get a Lijia barrel but Im kinda spent out right now

The stock pad/pouch had loops for 6 centerfire rounds and I just cut the loops between every other one and tada it held 3 rimfire mags
Got to take my 455 out today. Didnt get to the range till late in the morning and the wind was up enough to make shots less than perfect and once the sun came out I had to deal with the heat effect off the ground but I was able to pull some decient shots out of my rifle which were as good if not better than my broken in 452. I need to say the Vortex scope rocks. I love the zero stop and the clicks are sure and firm. Once I zeroed it at 25 yards I changed my dope to 100, 200, back to 25 yards again and again and the shots were spot on every time. My trigger seems to be around 1.5 to 2 lbs which is perfect for a tactical trainer and I think I will keep in about there. Need to get a bolt knob and the action hasnt yet smoothed out but it will in time. Here are some pictures of my shots at 50 and 100. Did take the gun all the way out to 300 and was able to hit a boar sized target consistantly. Shot it out to 400 but I couldnt tell if I hit and didnt see any dustups so I cant be sure I missed either.

Verdict is still out because I only just for oit only put 200 or so rounds out so the barrel isnt yet broken it. Will it be a dedicated bench gun.... no but as a tactical rimfire trainer I just dont think it can be beat for price and avaliability. No its not a 40X but how many 40x's are out there for a reasonable price and how many of those 40X's are repeaters?

You could always get a barrel.

Took ly CZ for its second outting and overall I am very happy. This is an MOA gun and Im sure when the barrel is seasoned it will group even better. SHot these groups for a online match on another board and this will give you an idea of its potential. Gun was shot from the bench and bipod with rear bag. Im sure if I put this rifle in a benchrest like my cadwell rock I could even tighten this up more. IMG_0116 by usmcchet92_96, on Flickr

Other than the stock your Varmint should be the same as mine
