CZ 457 MTR Scope rings

so, I finally decided to get a CZ 457 MTR (it's lovely as is (love the wood stock) and if necessary can put it in a MDT XRS Chassis at some point in the future..) and plan to add an Area 419 30 MOA rail and a Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56 scope and some Vortex Pro 34mm scope rings (due to availability issues) but then the question comes about which height rings: low (0.95"/24.13 mm) or medium (1.1"/27.94mm).

I assumed this was going to be pretty easy to find, as I'm pretty sure i'm not the first person to use this combination but somehow I can't seem to find the answer.

I would really like to have a decent cheek weld without adding a cheek riser, but is this an unrealistic expectation? (hence the idea to use low rings)

I'd also still like to add the sun shade, but is this even possible with low rings and a 30 MOA rail..

I will only be using this for range use, I have access to 100m and possibly up to 300m

This is the method I use to determine ring height. Make sure you have the sun shade on when you do this.

To shoot Rimfire PRS go as high as possible. It helps with your shooting position. All significant chassis have adjustable cheek rests, although current wisdom recommends chin weld vs cheek weld anyway. If it’s just for the bench disregard.

Low will work and provide a better cheek weld.
However the general wisdom is to go higher.

I recently changed from approx 1.2" to 1.5" tall rings and found it to be a much more comfortable shooting experience.
It should be easy enough to source some sort of cheek riser if you go for the higher rings.

Also before buying a chassis start another thread and get feedback on the different options, and include (swiss?)
pricing so people can get the full picture.
