I have a buddy that has a CZ 452 with the plastic magwell so far he has replaced it twice does anybody know of a metal replacement. He heard about BRNO but I can't find anything on it.

He sells old country CZ parts. I got a steel 452 magwell from him (and mags, and a steel single shot adapter, and other parts).

Great guy-sometimes he takes a while to get back online, he's out of pocket often. Be patient, he's very good to go.

So out of curiosity would there be a reasonable demand for machined billet CZ bottom metal? Reason I ask is I'm working with my smith to have a few made possibly. Would I be safe in having some extras made for others?

Sober, thanks for the heads up. I actualy have ordered CZ parts from RT (guess he was affiliated with them not too long ago). Dosnt look like hes doing any CZ trigger guards at this time, however the Sako product is basicly what mine is looking like.

I did a quick search at rimfirecentral and someone had posted they got one from him and it was a recent pot.
I'm not sure how the RFTech connection is these days, but yeah, the absence of CZ452 parts on their site was interesting.

Not a matter wearing it out. The OP wants to change out the plastic for metal. Others such as myself want to change out the POS stampped metal part for something that dosnt look like a bag of ass.
The CZ 452 is one of the finest .22 available IMO and nothing about it feels cheap or flimsy EXCEPT for the bottom metal.
Admit its more about dressing it up vice improving performance but then again I wouldnt want to glass be with the OEM bottom metal either.
