just completed the scope selection vortex pst 2,the mount egw, the rings arc m10. cz550 tacticool 308 1-12 twist,26 inch barrel.using only factory loaded ammo, start with prime 175 grn, gold medal 175 grn, any other suggestions to include? working my way to 1000 yd, any help and advise would be wonderful. is 20 rounds each ok for seeing what the gun likes best

That sounds like a fine way to start. Multiple 5 round, 100 yard groups will give you a general baseline. If you have access to a chronograph, get your velocity and SD.

I love my CZ 550, and am using the EGW 20 MOA pic rail. Never shot factory ammo in it, but if you reload, try the 175's with 42 grains of Varget and work up. I found a sweet spot at 44.0 grains with the TMK's. Mine likes the 190 class bullets best though, so maybe try those too.

cant say how much i like my cz yet but if my shadow 2 is any indication i will be very happy as this cz shadow 2 is the best pistol i ever shot outta the box and better than alot of custom pistols.I am a small business owner and do not have the time to do handloading and the time it takes to work up loads but man i sure would like to.I picked 308 as it has alot of factory options in match loads and price.Thankyou for the advice. When i start handloading yours will be the starting point,again thanks
