i'm looking to build a revolver for hunting out of a dan wesson .44 magnum. i have one with a 6" barrel but i want 8". (insert punchline of your choice here). i found a barrel but i can't find a shroud. if anyone knows a source for an 8" .44 mag shroud in blue please forward it to me. i have been to all the ones i can think of, gunbroker, guns america, ebay, all the suppliers. help!!

I believe that Dan Wesson is distributed by CZ and that they have barrels and shrouds?

cz does distribute them but only make 1911 style guns at this point. there's rumors they are bringing the revolver back but i haven't heard for sure. thanks for the thought.

Try contacting CZ,they may have old inventory laying around.I picked up a 8" barrel and shroud for my 445 supermag about a year ago from them.I believe I dealt with Genny from CZ/DW
