Rifle is a Daniel Defense DDM4V11 16" 300BLK. It has roughly 500 rounds of Fiocchi 150gn FMJ. Only change to the rifle was a Rise Armament Advanced Performance Trigger. Rifle has always been cleaned and lubed with Lucas gun oil and solvent. I was doing a good clean because I was changing the bird cage to a 3 prong flash hider from Dead Air as I will be purchasing a Sandman S in the coming months. Just noticed this, I think I had done one good clean sometime in the middle of that 500 rounds but just did a good wipe down and lube. Found this wear odd, and also asked my father who was a 2111 in the Marines Corps for 20 years and also an instructor. He also said something was not right.

Shouldn't the cam pin be rotated out of the way by the time the bolt unlocks?

Going to contact them tomorrow, but was wanting to get your guys opinion.

So, been reading up on it, looks to be normal. Also had a look at my Sig 716, it is worn as well, but no where near as bad. Guess nothing to worry about.
Looks normal but what i did to both AR15 one gas impingement and the other piston. I installed roller cam pin kits put out by POF USA. Easy install and inexpensive check it out.
