Re: Daughters Beaver

Should be the 330s But would have to look.

She hasn't forgiven me for leaving the 840 dope on the new GAP284 and watching her sail a 180 waaaay over a buck standing broad side @ a chipshot 210 yards at daylight.....Dad had a real gutcheck non that one.

She is a buck magnet. We saw a shootable buck everyday she went..she is just a little to pickey

Fun to watch her talk hunting to the boyfriend...he needs the education.

Re: Daughters Beaver

If I recall correctly, a 330 has about 10-inch jaw spread while 220 has about 7 inches.

Beavers may be good to eat with proper seasoning, but I tried eating one on a primative outing without any seasoning and was hard to stomach. Tried grilling in over fire and also boiling it with cattail root. Took a lot of boiling to make tender.

Nice beaver! Good for her!

Re: Daughters Beaver

Jon - you are lucky to have a daughter that enjoys doing outdoor things. I loved to trap when I was her age and back in that day furs were worth a lot of money. Good for her, nice catch.
