Gunsmithing Davidson Action Wrench

Will I damage the integral lugs trying to remove a factory 700 Sendero barrel? The wrench is aluminum so I'd think the wrench would get damaged instead of the lugs if it's too tight, but thinking usually gets me in trouble so I ask.

Don't even try a rear entry wrench on a factory Remington barrel. You will destroy your shit and regret it. Get a wheeler or similar and do it right.

What Killswitch said, use a wrap around action wrench.

The Davidson port wrench isn't strong enough to break factory barrels loose.
