DAVIDSONS IS HAVING ONE DAY SUPER SALE ON LEUPOLDS ON 7/14 AND ITS ONE DAY ONLY! MY DEALER BUD CALLED ME THIS AFTERNOON TO LET ME KNOW AS HE KNOWS THAT I NEED A FEW MORE SCOPES.

Thanks for the heads up... How do you actually take advantage of this sale? I thought Davidson's (i.e. Gallery of Guns) was a distributor and not a retailer.

Bummer I am shopping for a scope, been juggling Leupold or a Zeiss Conquest.

I am not familiar with Davidson's, but would be surprised if their sale prices are any better than Scott's (LibertyOptics) regular pricing for his regular hide customers.

And I know the CS cant be any better.


ETA- I have heard GREAT things about several Hide dealers, but I personally deal with Scott at Liberty and Doug at Cameraland and CS/pricing gets no better.

I agree that Zeiss has good glass, especially in their high end stuff, but I went through 2 Conquests trying to find one without debris in the image(fortunately, I bought the Conquests from Doug at CameraLandNY and didnt have any issues getting replacements because he made my problem his problem). When the third one came, I sold it and went with what I knew at the time. Another MKIV, and had zero problems with it. MKIV's are great scopes for the money IMO. They serve a lot of folks well. Including a ton of those who serve. Not perfect, but damn good with good CS.
