Here comes another one...for July next year.

It's a completely different team that's been doing these new ones, so it shouldn't be too surprising. If anything, the would be prequels to the Marky Mark version.

Yeah, it was better than I expected, though by the time it came out all I could think about was the negative publicity surrounding Andy Sirkus complaining that he should be eligible for an Oscar.

What is your opinion on Mocap actors being eligible for an Oscar? I mean I guess they are acting but with the help of a teem.

I'm against it for individual performers. VES does it right by recognizing the performer, Animation Supervision and Lead Animator. No doubt Andy Sirkis and other performers play a key role in the final result, but I think they're generally deluded into thinking it's all them or even mostly them. As one of the Caesar animators said last year, "Andy Sirkis has no clue how much of his data I had to toss and redo myself." It's like when Pre-Viz guys like to take credit for final animation when in reality they're mostly doing blocking and timing. The animation is constantly built-up, redone, adjusted, etc and can often be light years from where it started in the end. If the Academy is going to recognize a mocap performance, they need to make it a team award like many of the other supporting awards. The VES model is completely fair. And the funny thing is the acting guilds are split on this issue by nature: they want the recognition for actors, but also despise the mocap approach has "not really acting." If the Academy doesn't get around to recognizing it, I suspect Andy will get an honorary Oscar 20 years from now for at least playing a pioneering role in the process, assuming it flourishes as a mainstream technique (which it already is doing).
