In a McMillan, it's a PITA. Carbon fiber, maybe not so much but, still a pain.
HS Precision, B&C or the like or Laminated, no way in hell I'd try it. </div></div>
It's on a HS precision so I'll just pay to have it done. It will be a while before I can afford to get dbm. I might as well pay a little more and have it done right so I don't mess up a 300 dollar stock. </div></div>
I love doing things myself and did quite a bit of research on how to inlet a stock. I've done a lot of work on wood stocks and was fairly confident but, bottomline, I don't have the proper equipment to do a professional job and really didn't want to have feeding issues and a messed up stock in order to save some money. I ended up sending my H&S precision stock off to have a professional do it, it's money well spent..
