DD Lightweight RECCE-ish build...Dope look right?

In anticipation of the arrival of my DD MK18, I started shopping for scopes for my 16" to give it more of a recce role. I found a good deal on a used Nightforce 2.5-10x24 w/Larue SPR1.5 on the EE here. When I received it, both the scope and mount had been painted. Last night, while my wife and I were watching some NCIS re-runs I decided to see what I could do about getting the paint off. Here's what the scope looked like before:

The scope/mount is a lot heavier than my T1 for sure, but not that much heavier than when I was running it with a 3X magnifier behind it. Of course after putting it together last night, I really can't wait to get out and shoot it.

I used the Shooter App on my Droid to generate the following dope. Before I go start slinging bullets into the wild blue yonder, does this look close to right? 75gr BH OTM

No responses? Anyone have an idea what 75gr trajectory should look like. Am I close?

MV looks about right, but a chronograph is really necessary to get the exact MV for your rifle with that ammo.

Go shoot it and see how well it works.

Just interpolating between your data using 2,640 fps and my 77 gr Nosler at 2,700 (JBM and actual)- you are in the ballpark. Air pressure for your altitude and actual MV can change things quite a bit at longer ranges of course.

I'd say you're close. You need to take it out and shoot the rifle with that load at various distances working your way out to verify the dope your app gives you. From there you can back your velocity in using the feature located in the app itself.

Your ballistics table looks correct. Plugged in the data but wasnt sure what your BC using the knights armament calculator. also guest on the FPS as well and put 2700.

Is it a 1:7?? My 1:7 16" CL/CHF DD barrel drives tacks at 100 with 69SMK. Good looking rifle.

Yes it is, thanks! I've got about 100rds of 75gr BH OTM on-hand. I just have to get it to the outdoor range 2 hrs away. Hopefully in the next couple weeks, but my schedule is filling up. I did shoot it at the local 25yd indoor range Saturday, but that's really just a wast of ammo for this gun. The scope is on paper now, though.
