A New York City Firefighter sustained a concussion and several broken teeth Saturday after police say he was assaulted while trying to stop a group of teens from harassing an elderly couple.
The 38-year-old off-duty firefighter was traveling on East 86th St. in Manhattan at around 9:25 a.m. Saturday when he noticed six teens “harassing” an elderly couple, a spokesperson with the New York City Police Department told Fox News.

Mr Glock and Mr Herstal have improved solutions for these packs of rats

Grab either the nearest assailant or the one who seems to be the leader of the pack and open up his fucking jugular or heart right there. Now see if any of the remaining scumbags want to step up and take his place...
And the jury will be full of his grandmothers and you will rot in prison.

Best to avoid the Planet of the Animals type cities

One thing that does make me go "Hmmm...." about this incident... I obviously can't speak for the firefighter, but if you're going to intervene, make damn sure you're prepared mentally for that confrontation and to exact quick, and decisive violence should the situation call for it.

Seems to me the firefighter may have thought his words and mere presence were going to be sufficient to move the pack of unruly teens along.

Good point there. I've started riding a motorcycle again. Saves me an awful lot in expenses. There are places along my commuting route that I go out of my way to avoid. And even then, if I am slowing down or stopping, I take care to be aware of my surroundings as fully as possible. These days, avoidance is the most proactive form of defense.

Their viability towards society is questionable, at best. My thoughts of parting them out, so that others can actually appreciate the organ donations, would serve as a warning and a lesson on "how to act" in society and civility.

Those who cross the line, don't have the opportunity to cross back. This being said, because "the rules and procedures that are in place to pre-empt such actions as well as deal with such violators IS NOT WORKING.

Time for Plan B. Who's got a better idea? I truly want to live in a better/safer society. But not at the cost to ALL. Just those who don't want to live in a better/safer society. The lawbreakers.
