@TheGerman , while I echo your sentiment, tightening the welfare spigot usually has the undramatic consequence of people getting jobs. This is true in this country and elsewhere. Given the labor shortage this is a good thing. And if this happens the left will be enraged.

I received a phone call last night. It was a pre-recorded message asking if I was a SNAP recipient. I hung up and blocked the number. In hindsight, I should have listened to the message.
