I thought about getting a 9mm can which is a tad bit quieter and lighter then the 45’s
Depends on host, ammunition, specific silencer, baffle design; lots of variables to consider. Volume is just a part of silencer design. In my testing, caliber specific silencers do perform better, all things being equal. There are exceptions of course.I thought most .45 cans are quieter than 9mm when used on 9mm because of the volume?
I'm likely wrong on this but I have seen that before.
Thanks for the suggestions. Which one would work best with a Scorpion MicroIf you don't own a .45, get the 9mm. They are generally smaller and lighter. The SilencerCo Octane 2.0 is a great value. Also consider the CGS Mod9 series. Rugged Obsidian 9 is my choice if you need a modular silencer.
This ones mainly gonna be used with a Scorpion MicroI guess I would never suppress a pistol, just me, if you can't holster a pistol what good is it, my opinion.
But did buy a 45 can for a Sig MPX, I regret that move every time I fire it. The 9mm can would have been a way better fit.
In that case, the Dead Air Wolfman, Rex Silentium MG7 358 and the SilencerCo Omega 9k should be considered. These models are specifically for PCC and subguns. Thanks for the suggestions. Which one would work best with a Scorpion Micro

Customer service is fast and excellent if you ever need it.
Yes. If you want to use it on a 22LR, being able to take the silencer apart to clean is important. However, I will always recommend a using a dedicated rimfire silencer above all else.@HansohnBrothers - do any of your recommendations above change if someone wants to use a .45 can for both a 1911 and a .22lr bolt gun?

I also am a fan of dedicated 22 suppressor, 22 is just so damn dirty.Got it, thanks. Would you recommendation to have a dedicated .22lr be centered on accuracy concerns?
