Long time listener ... first time caller. No wait, thats something else.

I have the LS64 thermal, and a NV clip on for yote hunting which works great, but I'm itching for a dedicated night vision scope for a bolt action rifle. I guess an option would be to attach my clip on to my bolt action rifle scope but I still want to explore the dedicated night vision scope. I've been looking for a couple weeks but there just isn't anyone you can call and ask how they like the night vision they bought other than ask the Hide.

Thoughts? Recommendations? Any help is appreciated

My budget is around $1,700 - $2,000

You can call us anytime. Give me a PM if you like and I can give you my cell if need be. With that budget , a GEN 3 may be hard to reach unless you get into a used type system.

The PVS-4 is a very capable unit and reliable. That one is also a very sound investment for a return if you decided to sell down the road for thermal, it's priced the same as the gen 2 units sell for.

If I didn't already have a bunch of clip ons and want an LWTS I would have already bought it.
