I see some talk about the Speer Deep Curls being similar or the same to the bullets used in the factory loaded Federal Fusions. I also know they were supposed to released the Fusion bullets for reloading, but never did. So are these the same? The reason I ask is I have a hunting rifle that loves the Fusion factory ammo and I've not been able to find any other ammo factory, or reloads that shoots anywhere near as good as the Fusions. For some reason that rifle is super picky on ammo and never that accurate with any ammo. I get 1.5" groups with the Fusions where as my next best group is with Federal Power Shoks and those group at about 3". I know it's horrible accuracy, but for what the gun is used for it does fine with the Fusions. I just would love to be able to find a handload that works as well so that I can save some money.

Deep curl are lead core bullets that the jacket is electronic plated with the jacket according to an article in the American RIfleman or the Speer website. Jacket is not supposed to separate from the core. The are not like the mono-metal bullets.
