Hey all,

A good friend of mine recently had a rifle done by Keith and Brad at Phoenix Custom and wanted me to share some pictures from our shooting session today. This is an absolutely sweet rifle! First three shot group from today measured right a .5moa, and that's with the disclaimer of no load development and someone new to precision shooting behind the trigger. Should be a very fine shooter.

I can get more details for anyone that wants them, but its a Defiance action in 308. Keith or Brad if you want to post the specs feel free.

Enjoy the pics!

Thanks Jordan, a lot of planning and work went into that rifle. turned out great!

The builder really matched the paint to the scope, unlike my build: <a href="http://s1295.photobucket.com/user/NeilGift/media/IMG_3213_zpsf39b3494.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1295.photobucket.com/albums/b636/NeilGift/IMG_3213_zpsf39b3494.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_3213_zpsf39b3494.jpg"/></a>

I guess RAL-8000 is impossible to match? Whatever. I am still happy though.

Meanwhile, get us some photos of how it shoots, okay?

I think you are OK even without the color match. It's hard to make a S&B look bad :)

My buddy has been shooting for a long time, but only reloading and shooting precision twice now. obviously still in load development (this is a 2500fps 178amax) and learning a lot about precision, but this was his first three shot group yesterday. its a great testament to the dry fire work he's been putting in, but the quality of the rifle as well.

Awesome work there!! Very impressive.

NevadaZielmeister just curious what the finish is on your bolt? It's hard to tell in the picture if it is unfinished or coated. I've been trying to decide if I want to have the bolt of the Deviant i ordered cerakoted black to match the rifle or not. I really don't wanna mess with the smooth feel of it but it would be nice if it matched.
