Gunsmithing Defiance into Surgeon?

Does anyone here know whether or not a Defiance Rebel SA would fit into a McM A5 stock that's been inletted for a Surgeon 591? Looking to buy one but not sure if my action would be compatible w/o much or any mods.

The bolt release cut for the Surgeon might look a little odd and you may have to mill a little on the bolt handle slot, but for the most part it should work.

^^^ this. a little more on the bolt handle cut out. Surgeon has a straight handle the Defiance a swept back handle. You can make it work
