Sorry...been drinking so my comprehension may not be so hot right now. But my take away of this is that we are calling "cheater cheater/rigging rigging" on folks who are encouraging as many people as possible to exercise their voting rights...especially people who are getting some form of benefit/aid (Whatever - Welfare, Social Security, Medicare etc) to get out there and vote. And this is rigging? I'm maybe missing something important here as I'm of the mind that if you are a legal citizen and you pay taxes you better get yer ass to the polls and vote - no taxation without Representation as it were.

Half the US cheating and not paying *any* taxes is pretty hard to believe but I'll take yer word for it. I'm finding it hard to believe half the people in the US buy their stuff "under the table" and thus pay no taxes but I'll take yer word for it because I'm not interested in proving you wrong. Half the people where I live are not lying cheating mother-fuckers that never pay taxes because they circumvent The System and are buying all their shit on the Black Market or flying under the radar. Ran my own business for 20 years and belonged to associations with dozens/hundreds of local businesses and I can guarantee you *none* of them were "under the table" not paying taxes nor charging sales tax.
Most of the people I know buy their food at the grocery store (and pay tax on it) and buy their fuel at the gas station (and pay tax on it) and buy their clothes, shoes, school supplies. home furnishings etc. at the local stores and pay taxes on it.
Where you live maybe not so much but where I live everybody I know is taxed out the ass. Thus we get to vote IMHO/YMMV.

Believe me, everyone I know pays beyond their fair share. I’m taxed already at like 42% and that’s not including, gas tax, sales tax, property tax and on and on and on. But it’s a pretty well known fact that roughly half the country doesn’t pay fed taxes. And while me and you may know people that pay their share, there is a large subset of people that do not and I don’t live in a bubble. I go well outside my bubble. If you really want to see how it works, find your an illegal and follow them around for a bit and see how they live. Groceries, if you eat healthy and want to remain anonymous, buy at a farmers market. Many of them are cash only because they don’t want to pay taxes. Need your car worked on and want to avoid taxes? There are plenty of people everywhere that will do it under the table. Lots of people buy used tires and the joints selling those usually take cash, avoid taxes. Yes there is plenty of ways to beat the system. You’d be naive to believe everyone is paying their share or even close to it. Again, find you an illegal to follow around and see how they survive under the radar and you might find there is a lot more People than you realize, not paying lots of taxes. Some are much harder to get around like the gas tax but I think we can all agree that gas tax, compared to most is super small change.
But half of America? Pretty hard to believe. I have illegals living in my neighborhood...they buy their food at the local grocery store and pay tax on it. Besides - I'm not defending illegals. Round 'em up - ship 'em out. Oh and find out who has been employing them and jail them/fine them shitless.
