Brownell's has it for about $25.00/lb I've been using the steel putty for about 15 years. Good stuff. They also make a stainless steel version. Go to a machine supply store like Grainger's.

yeah its like $37 per box now. I ordered my first box a couple weeks ago after reading a bunch of the bedding post on here. Gotta say I will never go back to acraglass gel for bedding rifles. It does cost 2x as much as acraglass Gel though.

i asked about the smaller tubes, i know its enough for stock texturing, but is it enough to bed? i guess you could get two (four) tubes. or use this stuff ?? about the same price

I pay $64 a lb for Devcon Titanium Putty. It cures 50% harder than the Steel putty.

I bought some Devcon 10110 from contestbaby09 on ebay that worked out well.
I see he now has Devcon 10110 Plastic Steel Putty (A) 1lb listed now for 25.99 plus shipping.
If you buy more the price gets cheaper.
