Finally got the balls to paint one of my rifles for the first time, nothing special just rattlecan I like how it turned out. Would had painted the dbal if it didn't void the warranty and I didn't paint the surefire because it gets moved around, thoughts?

one day I would like to tap into my inner creative side and try and pull a wood stock burn off , like jimmi hendrix did with his guitar on stage

just to see the flame effects I could get . I am figuring Its just going to end up as kindling but it could be neat . like someone got with this think its called shou sugi ban.

Not bad! It will still look good as it starts to wear off, which is a plus.
 
Well.... you did well.

Care to share your technique? Is it like the sponge dabbing method?
 
Looks good. Wish I had rattle canned instead of duracoat. Like the look better.
Is that a Daniel Defense?
