Rifle Scopes Different Leupold Alumina 50mm 59050 ?

Hi.

I have heard that leupolds Alumina 50mm 59050 will fit the Nightforce 50mm tube.

when I was looking for one to buy, I stumble across two different ones, having the same number.

someone who can clarify this ?

Per my Sinclair Catalog, the 40mm is different pre 2004 and 2004 and newer. The 50 mm shows no year difference, but : gloss black, Matte black and Silver. Hope this helps.
