Does anyone make a quality 300 WSM AR10?

Re: Does anyone make a quality 300 WSM AR10?

Maybe check with GAP? It's not anything I've heard of being offered off the shelf. Great idea though!

It is similar. I think the. WSN is a little better than the SAUM. That is just my opinion though. That being said, I have a 7mn SAUM, so it only a marginal difference.

This is consistent with what I've seen reported as well.

Given its slightly longer case, the WSMs are problematic due to mag length constraints than the RSAUMs are.

I have a 300 RSAUM. Though shorter than the 300 WSM, it still presents some problems with longer/heavier bullets.

Re: Does anyone make a quality 300 WSM AR10?

Have done most of my work with 150 grain bullets so far. With them I generally see the best results with around 2900 fps and have pushed it as hard as 3000.

edit: That is with a 20" barrel. I am sure I could get more velocity, but haven't really gone there with it. I have noticed that the slower powders which would give my the higher velocities start to show port pressure problems (ejecter swipes, etc). May need to put an adjustable gas block on one of these to get the most out of it.
