Does MDT Baker Wings Fit MPA BA Comp Chassis?

I called MDT and they did not know. You'd think they would, but no... Might be just too early for consumer feedback.

I thought maybe you guys might have a better idea.

There are slots on the side but MPA does not say anywhere if they are M Lock or some other design.

This works though

I currently have a MPA Matrix pro BA and recently added the MDT baker wings but notice the lip on the rail obstructing the baker wing from resting flat against the rail so I purchased a longer screw from Home Depot and was able to secure the bakerwing through my barrel weight. Pretty happy with the results! i Like it for the thumb/ hand support but still prefer my bag plate. I hope this helps anyone and everyone.

P.S I already reached out to MPA & Grayops about fabricating a version of a baker wing Unfortunately grayops didn’t respond at all. If you all can help add pressure to these guys it would help MPA feel enthused to fabricate a product in response to MDT. Thanks

MPA has the competition side rails which would appear to me to be very much the same in function.

Oh indeed! Last month I purchased 2 pairs while visiting MPA factory which look much better on my matrix pro than the baker wing. Funny thing is I recently purchased a ACC Elite and repurchased the baker wings for my MDT elite. Lol, conflicted at which one to keep and sell.

I run an MPA BA chassis. I like it and have it set up to fit me properly. I use the full set of external weights and only the forward internal weight to get a proper balance point. I wish they cut the chassis to allow another set of external weights to be mounted further rearward. That way the extra width of the weights adds more stability when on a bag. I thought about adding the side rails but, knew I would not run the rear external weight to allow room for my thumb to ride on the side of the chassis. A friend has an MPA BA with the comp rails. It balances well but, he has a straight 1.20" barrel. Mine is MTU. I ordered an MDT ACC Elite chassis w/Baker Wings, internal weight and some M-Lok external weights from Gray Ops to see which I will like better. One thing I like about the Baker Wings is that they will come all the way back to the mag block on the MDT chassis.

I totally agree I wish MPA would offer a alternate skeleton stock for those who wish to swap between standard matrix stock and tactical light stock. I had a hard time deciding on what color to order my elite as they are limited in colors, eventually I decided to go with TBL(blue).
