Not sure what it is, but sometimes getting my girls (wife and daughter) to the range takes bribes. I've found that since my local indoor range started selling zombie targets it's an easy bribe now. I don't really care how I got them there they do end up having a good time.

Maybe this could work for your significant others, or daughters on the fence about getting out to the range.

No matter what... shooting with family is always fun.

WTF is with the infatuation with "SHTF" and Zombies on your side of the pond?

Is it too much TV, something to do with food additives or do you all know something you're not telling?

Come on....share....2012 is just round the corner and should we expect the apocolypse?

BasraBoy... If I knew "how or why" zombies are now so fashionable (at least to destroy) these days. I've even seen that kids (teens and some young adults) are playing airsoft "zombies vs humans" games.

Just another fad, but definitely an odd one.

Zombies don't accuse you of racism/terrorism/consipracy like other would-be aggressor groups might.

I definitely think part of it is PC... if you throw up silhouettes that are supposed to be human, then it scares the natives. If you shoot at pictures of mythical creatures, it is far less scary... even silly.

And then you have these women who have more fun gunning down things that don't exist.

And then there are folks who will use it as a cover as well. Even though I enjoy marksmanship and serious shooting, I understand the thrill of the folks that rent out the grease gun at the local range and dump a few magazines on fully auto at about minute of brick wall at 20 feet. You say it is part of zombie preparedness because it is a guilty pleasure serving no practical purpose.

After all, what is more psycho, saying you need a double stack 9mm with a 30 round capacity for self defense or saying that you need it for zombies?

I couldn't get my EX wife to shoot, she was WAY too liberal... so she had to go! Now my new GF isn't crazy about shooting, but she's cool with it.
