Not a home build. Built by Tactical Rifles / David Rooney.
What makes you think it fired out of battery?
Not a home build. Built by Tactical Rifles / David Rooney. I cannot comment as I am litigation. Sorry! BTW - 6.5 Creedmoor caliber.

same here ?
Hand Load ? or Box Factory Ammo ?
You got a picture of the Bolt damage ? , Is BCG free for Pics. or is the Bolt locked into the Chamber ?
-
On Handloading AR, and you step over that line with an 'Overcharge' that exactly how it plays out . You blow the Mag. guts strait-out the Magwell for pressure relief .
.
How much is it costing you to litigate? I've heard Rooney is judgment proof.

Sorry I wish I could answer the questions but as I said, we are litigating the matter presently.
there's your problem. Glad you're OK. Good luck.
I don't think anyone is Judgement proof? Time will tell!
Update - Judgement received against Rooney personally and Tactical Rifles. Money is being collected!Moses the Tank is the guy you need to talk to. But to the extent I remember correctly--in his state a primary residence can not be taken to satisfy a lawsuit judgement, all the equipment in his shop has UCC's filed by the bank (so they belong to the bank not to him.)
Winning a lawsuit could be a slam dunk on the facts, collecting the funds could be much harder.
DO NOT SIGN FOR ANY REGISTERED LETTERS WHILE THIS IS ONGOING!
If you get a registered letter it will probably be a cease and desist, perhaps with a notice that you are being sued in federal court for slander and for damaging his reputation. If you don't sign for the letter you at least make him hire a process server.
What would you like to know?
It fired out of battery. it appears that they installed an incorrect buffer spring.Other than the issue with the builder/seller what has been determined to be the mechanical cause of the failure?
Something didn't work right.
Did a part break to cause this?
Was something not aligned?
Was there an out-of-spec part?
As a Kitchen builder, what do I NOT want to do that could result in 'blowed up Sir".
I did go to the web and read some of the issues with the vendor. Not interested in that.
The Judgement was for a total of $27,500.00 and we are halfway there on getting back the funds. Thanks to all for their well wishes!I hope you get all your funds back, plus lawyer fees. This guy is horrible. I wish word would spread ocean to ocean about this asshat.
