These rifle are awesome but the stock trigger sucks. I have rock river 2 stage AR-15 trigger will I have any problems putting this in the bigger platform, I think I have read it will fit but will i have any problem with light primer strikes? Has anyone done this?

Re: Dpms 6.5 creedmoor trigger question

You may want to consider a Geissele. These are very fast; and, they are ideal for use in NRA HP or LR competitions. Outside of that sort of competition, the stock trigger, which you said "sucked", can, with a proper grip, allow for smooth trigger control. Also, with it, doubling will never be an issue, even when you do not keep the trigger depressed until recoil has subsided.

Re: Dpms 6.5 creedmoor trigger question

I have the Rock River two stage trigger in all my AR platform rifles 5.56, 6.8,.22, 7.62 and it works extremely well in all of them. It has a great two stage feel and the trigger weight is perfect and has caused no problems with unintentional double taps. I use the same springs that come with the trigger set in all the rifles with no problems at all.

Re: Dpms 6.5 creedmoor trigger question

I put a RRA two stage on a DPMS LR308 lower last week and it works just fine, and it is a hell of a lot better than the stock. I'll agree not as nice as a Geissele, but it certainly doesn't suck...

Have never used the Geissele, but I have the JP trigger in my Creedmoor DPMS. I like it quite a bit over a stocker.
