I have one om 308 and am thinking about rebarreling it or building a whole new upper for it. What caliber would be good for getting out to about 600 or so and still feed reliably. I want to keep it at 20". I was thinking about 243, 260, or 6.5 creedmoor.

If I wanted something for 600 yards or less, I would probably go with a 5.56 or .223. Cheaper to shoot, lighter, and less recoil.
