Re: Dpms lr308
I've had a Bushnell 3200 10x40 for a couple years and a few hundred rounds on my LR-308. When I zeroed it I recall groups well under 2MOA at 200m with factory match rounds. Before that I had a Leupy 3.5-10x40 on a LaRue extended eye relief mount and at the one rifle class I went to was able to hit everything necessary out to 500yd with match rounds, and most things at closer ranges with gun show reload ball.
Not very scientific but it's a data point. I'd definitely take the Leupy over the Bushy but most of all I wish I had an S&B again, which is becoming ever more tempting. The 4-16x42 is what I'd try first because you can mount it low and get an easy cheekweld, and with the single-turn mil-mil version most likely could put a Micro T-1 on top and cover all ranges from pointblank to wherever.
