Rifle Scopes dpms panther LrT sass W NF 3.5x15x56 scope

Re: dpms panther LrT sass W NF 3.5x15x56 scope

i have a nightforce uni-mount on my SASS. It has 20 moa built into the mount, not that it matters much but I think larue only has 10. I really like the larue though especially if you are looking for a true quick detach system

It's the stoutest one-piece mount I've ever seen. I have one on my Barrett and getting a second for my SASS. It requires a star-allen to remove/install but it takes only seconds. Its so strong you can use your scope as a carry handle if you were so inclined providing your scope could handle it.

</div></div>Does it require some sort of monster mount to be able to handle this? I pick my gun up by the scope all the time, and think nothing of it.

I surely wouldn't do it with a Larue on a heavy rig. Not because the mount is weak in any way, but because the cam grabs only a very small portion of the rail. I'd be more worried about damaging the rail.

Re: dpms panther LrT sass W NF 3.5x15x56 scope

I use a Larue LT-158 on my DPMS LR308 (Krieger barrel, DD 12.0 Rail, Geissele trigger) with a NXS 3.5-15x50.

It sits lower than the LT-104 but still allows for a Troy backup sight to mount underneath the NXS. It has 10 moa of cant built in.

I have the levers tightened but not too tight. They only made tiny little marks on the rail, nothing to worry about, and they have never loosened. Works great.

The aadmount is out of stock anybody have any idea of how long of a wait there is? </div></div>
I sent Jon an e-mail to find out. I've yet to order my second one and will need it by Dec.

Re: dpms panther LrT sass W NF 3.5x15x56 scope

I might just go with the larue LT-104 because I can’t wait to mount the scope (my first LR rifle setup) lol.

Has anyone used a LT-104 with a 56? I know it will clear a 50 but not sure about the 56 w Mangonel back up iron sights.

Thank for the space.
