Rifle Scopes DPMS SASS scope mount

I'm new to all of this. Have a DPMS GII SASS. Leaning towards a Vortex Viper HS-T 6-24x50. Next is mounting the scope. Kinda lost on base, rings, unimount? Cantilever? I'm a noob please help. Thanks all!

I have a Vortex Viper 4-16X FFP PST in a Burris PEPR cantilever on my SASS. Its held up well over the last 3 years. If I had the coin at the time I would have used a Spuhr mount.

Nice setup!!! We've had great experience with American Defense mounts.
