The "drag bags" offered on the market now, are overbuilt for the way most people use them. They cost too much, are too heavy and have features that never get used.
I'm not mad at anyone that wants a "drag bag", just looking at the difference between whats available and how its really used. </div></div>
Steve,
I don't need a drag bag since i am not in the position to use it the way they are intended. I do need a range bag that hopefully folds out to a mat, but the mat isn't really needed so long as i can strap a (preferrably yours) mat to it.
The big issue i have is that my rifle measures 51" long x 12.5" tall x 4.5" wide. I prefer to have a bag that could hold this one plus another one that is 49" long x 12" high x 4.0" wide. It needs to have backpack straps for me to be able to lug all of the weight back & forth to my shooting spots.
Currently i have a midway 56" "drag" bag that just barely holds these 2 rifles. I consider it a range bag due to its construction. I am hoping this thing hold out for another season or until someone builds a USA made bag that fits my needs with a reasonable cost.
FYI: I have several of your products now & always recommend them.
If you need further information or pics of my setup,PM me.
