Drill Support Trimming Cases

Giraud drill powered case trimmers are mentioned often. How do you manage the process? I am curious about drill support, fixture, drill press etc.

Mounted one on an old oil burner motor so the trimmer is used vertically. It works great for bulk cases but I would not buy another of that type of trimmer.
It is very consistent on the case length but the bevel varies and many times is not centered.
You are better off buying the better Giraud trimmer.

I was toying with the drill mounted one, but from everything I’ve heard and read the self contained unit is the way to go if you don’t mind the upfront price hit. Plus you can add like 3 cartridges pilots for the price of one of the drill mounted ones

Perhaps I will continue to crank em out for the time being.

Also on the cheaper one the entire device is spinning and you are using the case to to stop the bearing inner race from spinning
when the case shoulder makes contact with the trimmer case adapter scratching the case.
