Yeah... but you have cheese-steaks! Why for the love of all things holy would someone from Philly bother with BBQ... when you can have Cheese Steaks?
As for Ketchup, Accelerant and failure... Try the BBQ in France sometime. Good God... stick with snails and runny cheese?
As for BBQ... I still think the best in the world is Eastern North Carolina Vinegar Sauce... I love my 'red sauce' Texas BBQ... And I love SC Mustard BBQ... And Kansas City Dry Rub. And most other kinds. But there is nothing to compare to a Fayetteville Pig 'pickin with vinegar and pepper/molasses sauce... and good 'cracklin. I do a pig roast about every year. And that's how I do it.
Anyone else remember OT's BBQ of Apex, NC? Southwest of Raleigh... Northwest of Fayetville. Some of the best BBQ anywhere.
