Thread's first rule of drinking; I'm drinking first. If there is enough money or booze left over, I'll cover you. If not, it sucks to be you......regardless of color. Once I've got a few pops in me, I start to lose track of color right quick.
That is the stupidest thing I have seen today.

Not one of those folks, nor their parents and probably not their parents parents ever knew someone who was a slave in the USA.
This "guilt" thing, white or otherwise is also crazy. None of us are responsible for our parents, grandparents or multi-generational grandparents actions or beliefs. We can screw things up enough on our own(sarcasm).

The problem is that Honky has been buying the beer for a long time already.
People really confuse race with ethnic make-up. It's not necessarily the skin color that makes your race it's bone structure and specifically skull structure. The girls shown at the top of the thread probably are actually in the Caucasoid race based upon their structure. That's why they changed the discussion to people of color vice black as to make the tent larger.

... only if they're drug tested every 3 months and are actively, legitimately looking for a legal means of supporting themselves AND they sign a contract that after 2 years of welfare they take whatever job the welfare / unemployment dept gives them for the same period of time they were on welfare. The fact that there even needs to be DNA testing should clue everyone in to the fact we're all mutts, and there is only one race of humans (a scientific fact). I have nothing against purebreds, but there practically aren't any, and where there are they have genetic problems from family trees with too few branches (like in Saudi). Hybrids drop out recessive genes (hat tip Mendel), and the genetic line becomes stronger, period. Sorry racists, science makes racial purity a distinct disadvantage, and fosters genetic diseases.
@sirhrmechanic - its interesting looking way back in your family history... I had a grandfather who received a land grant from the King of England and went on ~10 yrs later to fight against him in the Continental Army. LOL

It belonged to an ancestor who was in kind of a "Home Guard" concerned about preparing in case Napoleon attempted to invade. The fighting did not start until 1803... but people were gearing up early.
Displayed with a couple of original ink and watercolor paintings, probably done for a book plate in the '60s. Not that the sword sash badges in the paintings were from the 1798 Armed Association... but because the paintings show the position of similar regimental badges. Only a handful of these 1798 badges survive. I think the count was at four, last I checked.
Lots of neat things one can find in one's past without having to look around to decide that some ancestor went into the woods to make a drum and ended up with a ABC miniseries... You don't have to be Kunta Kinte to have an interesting lineage.
Oh, yeah, and Alex Haley made a lot of his Roots story up.... including using 'circular reporting' in which his own story was repeated back to him... and he took that as quotations. His Roots and Queen books are case studies in doing BAD history... in order to tell the story he wanted to tell. But the fact that historians use him as a case study in how NOT to do history... doesn't change the fact that everyone believes it's real and wants to identify as being descended from Shaka Zulu or Kunta Kinte. Idiots.

It can be confusing. I’m pretty sure there were some disconcerted hillbillies in high school when at a music festival Harjot, Deep, and Manu started yelling, “PLAY SOME SKYNARD!”, with their patkas on but in deep southern accents.
