anybody have recent experience with DSA FNFAL rifles thinking about my next rifle i really have no needs. I do have my FN but see no reason to wear it out as is it shoots lights out i wouldnt mind another to go to range with and keep the FN for SHTF rifle.

I scored a DSA 58 Medium Contour back in 2012. Another classic battle rifle that many still wage a hate campaign against because it's not sub MOA (or MIL if you're a squeak🤣) and is chambered in the ubiquitous 7.62. They are made in the USA and have great customer service. I had read a recall on trigger groups and sent them an email about mine. Mine was older and did not fall into the group, but they still offered to inspect it and upgraded the trigger group. Had it back in just over a week!
I had always wanted an FAL rifle and with wood furniture they look killer. Never had any issues with my blaster. The gas system can be regulated so read up on that. Using Federal Gold Medal Match, I was able to hold the 10 ring on an NRA SR-C at 200yds. No doubt due to the fact that I know how to use manual transmission sights on service type rifles...😊...(ah yes....the Wild Turkey Rare Breed is quite delicious this fine evening...) Just took a look at the round count on it....50! Unable to comment on glass on this platform, my advice is to trust the front sight. It will never lie to you!
Good luck and good shooting!
