DSA FAL SA58 SPR

Re: DSA FAL SA58 SPR

I have one of there SA58 gray wolfs and it is a great rifle. with 175gr match kings at 100yd it shoots 5 shoot's into 1" or a little better and with the gas turned off it will do 5 shots into .5".
I shoot 5 shots into 1.97" at 300yd with gusty wind a few days ago.

Re: DSA FAL SA58 SPR

I always loved the FN FAL platform as I like the way it looks. But, when you are paying that kind of price for a rifle you can do a lot better than $4700. You are paying for their R&D for the Army SASS trials and in the end of the day you will get 1 MOA out of it. I can pay a lot less money for a GAP SASS and get better accuracy out of it. I think a LWRC REPR, LaRue OBR, or a POF 308 are a lot better choices than this one. I would pass at that price.

I love, own, build and shoot my FAL's...thats an insane price. I'd shell that out for an amnesty rifle or a real FN, but never on a clone. Not too mention that hog pictured will weigh a TON!!

What is your recipe for that?

Re: DSA FAL SA58 SPR

Remington Nickel plated brass, CCI Bench rest primers, 175 SMK, 42gr Varget, COL 2.800", 2540fps. the barrel was always good but it got really good shooting after about 400 rounds through it.
