Seriously,
eyDutch? ohh I guess it´s better they are blamed th make the truth clear,
it´s a Swedish stridsbåt 90, assualt boat 90, doing a show of performance in a narrow channel in Söderköping, sweden,
the driver apparently had one of the two engines fail and then ended beached,
btw the boat and all around it was A-ok afterwards.

Anyone lose their job over this? Maybe a cut in pay? A reprimand? A dirty look?

Dirty looks were given from the crowd,
a prelim report states enginge failure and no fault on drivers part,
however the investigation is still taking place and I would venture to guess that some brass, midlevel will get a reprimand,
doing 20 knots in a small channel about 12 meters wide is perhaps not the brightest of ideas, its doable but the crowd was not organized.
There is a police report filed and it´s pending the military inquiry. Good reasons state that if the accident/indicidentis due to a failed engine then the whole thing will be a write of as in regards to criminal charges.
