Rifle Scopes Early morning ID quiz

Hello snipers hide. I haven't posted much before, a few pics but have been a lurker for some time. Found a neat bit of kit and thought I would see what might be available in the knowledge base here. The item in the picture is an adaptor to fit an ________ to an ________. Any guesses? It is shop/machine made not cast. There are more than one of them but it is definitely a short run item.

Appears to be a rise for Leupy scope base that uses the standard front twist lock ring lug. I don't know what attaches to the top of it though. Spacing appears to be about the same as a SA receiver.

Is it for adding a riser to a bolt rifle with a leupy base so you can put an red dot or holo type sight on it ?

does go on a redfied jr base, is for a short action. most fitting on a square corner 40x marked redfield jr base.

Here it is. Mounts an AN/PVS 1 on an M40. The holes on the rear plates will line up on a short or long action base.

Hey, I got the twist lock call correct on the front side... Pretty darn cool bit you have there.
