well it showed up,The fit and finish of the weapon is bar none better than alot of what is out there, the coating of all the metal parts is very smooth, just like the finish of a car if the prep work is not good neither will the paint.Machine work is extraordinary.A-2 stock with the texture fits my hand very well so the pad of my finger is on the trigger and not having to work to find the spot the trigger breaks at 2# no creep/overtravel.The optic is S&B-4x16x50 PMII with the Klein Reticle scoped it up took it out and zeroed it.Without further babbling here is a couple picture of it and a group, the fuzzy pic is the es measured spread of 5mm it was cold out that day also 3 degree centrigrade this was shot on the 14 Nov 2009 at the Weld County Fish and Wildlife range at Ault Colorado.hope all enjoy the photo of rifle and group as i have been since it showed.Take care Brad

Re: ECHO-51 LEFTY HAS ARRIVED

Hey Brad,

Congrats on your Echo - beautiful rifle man! When I first saw the photo of your group I thought it was Rescigno's test target because its' so tight, and Rescigno always uses orange dots on his certification targets.

So, you shot a .111" prone off a bipod. Thats' awesome shooting!

I had seen your bolt in the Tac Ops shop a fews weeks ago and asked Mike where the rest of the rifle was. He mentioned that you sent your bolt in because the oversize factory firing pin hole was causing overpressure, so Tac Ops milled-out your boltface and inserted a new one. Looking at the bolt you wouldn't have even known, which is why I was like <span style="font-style: italic">"WTF is this doing here"</span>.

I am just curious why no one ever answers this question? He only asked how long; he didn't asked what lead times are. Like I said I am just curious why no one ever answers this question.

Last I heard it was 12-14 month wait. This is from a VERY recent post. The customer purchased a Tango and he said, "The average wait time is just a little over a year." Everyone that has purchased one of Mike's rifles says that the wait is worth it. If you would like to read it for yourself here ya go:

Beautiful set up dirt pusher.

I have not seen a Tac Ops with a DBM.... I heard Mike has a reason who he does not use them but I'm just curious if anyone know why...?

Once again congrats on your purchase. This is one that you should hold on to.

Thats' funny. I'm always giving one of my shooting buddies shit because he is left-handed, and shoots one of those funny actions with the bolt on the left side too.
